The control is very neat, it's not clicky, you are guiding the hamster's ball with your mouse. It's an interesting game style that's hard to explain. It definitely makes this game unique.
The levels do get progressively harder, the kids are much better at it than I am.

 

Cute, fun, and kid friendly with one exception. The time limit makes trying to finish races very frustrating. If you run out of time in a race you have two options. Repeat the entire tournament and hope you win it the second time through, or choose rollback which lets you repeat it immediately but you don't get to post a high score. To me that was incredibly frustrating. Even on the easiest level this game will frustrate some people. If there was an option to have more time on the races or no time limit at all, just who can make it through the course fastest, I would LOVE this game. As it is, I only like it when I'm in the mood for a tough challenge.

This leaves Torque free to explore so that, hopefully, he can escape the prison island and reach safety.

Shooting up monsters is the order of the day. The Suffering is more about action than about snooping around in search of keys.

Aside from shooting Things, you'll also do some light puzzle-solving. Most of this is as simple as finding a button or a switch to open a door, but you'll also have to push or pull boxes around, put out fires That block your path, and so on.
